Just the start

Starting over is a blessing. Being a young woman with complex thoughts and desires is a blessing. I have had a roller coaster of emotions since the start of 2019, and I think it is safe to say this has been the best year of my life. This year has been full of great changes, and I am so thankful to be where I am today. I am so grateful for the life I live, and the decisions I have made thus far. What I manifest came to be. I decided in late January 2019 that if I got into my first choice college, I would leave my hometown to move to the city and attend school. God, the universe, and time has a way of throwing you into places you would never imagine you’d be… or maybe places you’d always dreamt you would be.

I am in one of my favorite cities in California, living and studying. I remember telling my best friend that I was going to be going to school and shortly moving to SF, and she was surprised because I had barely talked about my plan. Truth is, I was winging it! I decided at the last minute because I was nervous to pick up everything and move, to leave behind my comfortable life for a change. I think we truly discover ourselves when we are faced with change. I am moving with intent now, and I am excited to see what comes next for me.

I want to leave everyone with a message that it is never too late to change your path, or start something new! You can do whatever you want in this life. The world is yours! The catch is you have to believe in what you are doing, and you have to know that no matter what things are going to work out for the best. Take that class. Book that flight. Drive to a new city. Make that decision. Do something you have never done. I promise it will be worth it.
