Taurus Szn
After every month I like to re-cap and talk about what Ive learned during the course of the season. I will be talking about my experience during each astrological season going forward. This blog post will be about Taurus season! Taurus season started April 20. Taurus is a fixed earth sign ruled by the planet venus. Venus is the planet of aesthetics, companions, open enemies, war, and beauty. Taurus is a fixed signs. Fixed signs motto is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! They thrive off of consistency in their life. Fixed signs are the signs that have staying power, they are fixed in their ways. Earth signs are grounded, stable, and “earth signs make rational decisions based on tangible information”. Taurus season kicked off in the midst of the eclipse season too! Very intense 30 days!
Taurus season was about letting go of people who are committed to disagreeing and challenging you on every little thing. It was about setting boundaries with the ones you love, because you recognize they are simply not aligned with where you are headed. It was about putting the right effort to materialize goals and enhance your surroundings and overall quality of life. This season was about learning to not be a slave to your money. Taurus season was about recognizing the value that you hold within and letting that shine through in everyday life.
What is value?
1 .The regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
2. A person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life.
My experience
Taurus falls into my 2nd house in astrology, the house of value, material possessions, and finances. I definitely left with a greater sense of myself worth and what I contribute to the world, my circle, and my life. I also did great with budgeting this month, was blessed with unexpected sums of money, and also changed up my bedroom aesthetics to uplift my mood. During Taurus season I learned what it means to value me. In valuing myself I have found that what I spend my time on and who I spend my time with truly matters.
The sun entered the sign of Gemini yesterday May 20th and already I have felt the shift of energies in the air. Gemini is a mutable air sign ruled by the planet mercury. Mercury is the planet of communication, automobiles, short distance travel, and is the trickster. Mutable signs are the signs most adaptable to change, they are moldable, moveable. They usually thrive off change in their lives. Air signs are analytical; they process emotions, then they feel them.
Gemini falls into my 3rd house, the house of communication of all sorts; writing, speaking, editing, local community, and transportation. My goal for this season is to get a car, to write in my blog consistently for the remainder of Gemini season, and to network, network, network! I am excited and hyped because this means it is almost summer, and then one step closer to my birthday!
