Poetry I

I have been trying to tap into the poet in me. Poetry is concepts made by forming words / stringing sentences together. Poetry is words that can be felt. Words are so strong and beautiful. Words are something that I struggle with at times. How can I find the words to describe just how i’m feeling inside?

Poetry has been a nice escape for me. It has been a getaway. Poetry has made me feel open and expressive. Poetry is beauty. Poetry is vulnerable. I want to start sharing my poetry and be more open and vulnerable.

Nostalgia

A feeling of longing to be in a moment

It feels like I am in a dream

In my dreams you’re mine & I am whole

But where do I exist to you?

On your brain?

In your heart?

As your friend?

Questions I wish I had the courage to ask you

Dreams can’t be this good

Instead of talking we’ll just make this moment last

Nostalgia is what is left
