Los Angeles

I had quite the experience while in Los Angeles on a mini vacation. On the 2nd day of vacation my friend and I visited Inglewood to eat soul food at The Serving Spoon. I had THE BEST waffles, mac & cheese, and fried chicken combo there. If you like Roscoe's in Los Angeles, you will love this place even more. After we decided to take a leisurely trip to a hotel bar. While taking pictures, and enjoying the view, my friend received a message that ultimately lead to the trip being a nightmare. 

We joked after, that if you are to have a breakdown it is best to do it in class, at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. "No where else would I condone a breakdown!" I told my friend.  The Waldorf hotel has a posh rooftop bar, and a 360 view of Los Angeles/Beverly Hills. The people there dressed like they just walked off the runway, and drinks were priced at $20 and up. Thank goodness for the mini rolled towels, and abundance of tissues provided by the hotel, because the water works were in full affect. Compliments to the hotel for having clean bathrooms. 5 stars definitely! 

To all my readers who has ever had a bad vibe about a person, please do not ignore those feelings. If you have even the slightest bad feeling/ vibe about someone, it is best that you distance yourself from them. Your body may even send off triggers that make you feel uncomfortable or anxious around a person who is not good for you. You know yourself best and chances are, what your feeling is valid. Listen to yourself. 

When someone isn't right for you, do not ignore the signs. If someone isn't treating you right, DO NOT wait for them to. Recognizing those feelings, and triggers will help save you a lot of time and love in the long run. 

The trip ended with a visit to Long beaches, Connected Cannabis Co. where I picked up a quarter of flower. Indica Dominant Viper Cookies, and a Hybrid strain, Smarties. Although Long Beach was a bit gloomy, it was nice to be near the ocean for a bit. Later that evening I enjoyed a lovely candle lit dinner in West Hollywood, at SUR, which I just learned stands for, Sexy Unique Restaurant. There are about 3 different rooms in SUR, each with different decor, and lighting. I was seated in the pink room, with rose petals on the tables, fresh pink bouquets, and pink pillows lining the benches on the wall. My friend ordered the fried goat cheese balls for an appetizer, which was AMAZING. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Alfredo, and a glass of wine. My shrimp was juicy, and overall the meal was very filling. SUR is known for being featured on the television show, Vanderpump Rules. If you do try this place, make sure you make reservations in advance, and prepare to pay for parking.

Dinner @ SUR

Enjoyed a lovely meal at SUR in West Hollywood. Shrimp Alfredo was very filling, and flavorful. MUST TRY!
