I had never been to Lodi Lake until January 2018. My two friends decided to take me on a beautiful sunny day. I was surprised to see a small man made lake in the middle of Lodi, CA. It is a cute spot to have a picnic, or enjoy a scenic stroll along the water. There are lots of trees, trails in the back one can hike, and benches for bystanders to sit.
My friends and I found a secluded spot and rolled up Smarties, a hybrid strain crossed with Girl Scout Cookies and Blue City Diesel. My FAVORITE sativa hybrid strain right now. It is the perfect mix of euphoria and total relaxation. Definitely a must try strain for any cannabis connoisseur who appreciates a stony smoke. We dabbed some Strawberry Banana nugrun sugar after. This strain provides a full body/mellow indica feel, in about 10 minutes my mouth was salivating and I was hungry!
We stopped by Feast of Lodi, one of the best food trucks in the area! I had a crab cake, which is freshly made by them every morning, and pesto fries. The best! It was a fun little trip to Lodi, and I am thankful that we have scenic places that we can enjoy close to home! If you have never been, it is definitely a chill spot to check out. Plan to take a little 2 hours trip, walk, pack a lunch and enjoy the simplicity of Lodi Lake.
