Saturn Return 101: Major Turning Point

Saturn Return 101: Major Turning Point

Saturn Return: A New Era Begins

As you may have learned in my last blog, Saturn Returns typically happen every 30 years, between ages 28-30, 59-60, and 88-90, when Saturn returns to the exact sign and degree of your natal Saturn. For me, this momentous occasion will arrive at age 29.5, just months before my 30th birthday. The timing is almost poetic—right when the reflection and anticipation of entering your 30s hit their peak.

Saturn, the planet of discipline, structure, and responsibility, doesn’t play around. It brings a heavy dose of accountability and forces you to confront internal issues you’ve avoided. The carefree chaos of your 20s—filled with tough lessons, letdowns, highs, and plenty of reckless fun—gets a reality check. Saturn ushers in a period of deep reflection, excitement for a fresh start, and yes, a little anxiety as the big 3-0 looms.

But here’s the beauty of Saturn Returns: it’s not just about the end of one chapter; it’s the start of a brand-new era. Saturn teaches us what truly matters, gives us a reality check, and helps us lay the foundation for the next decade. It’s like a cosmic mentor reminding you of your growth, maturity, and the importance of taking responsibility.

Saturn in Pisces: A personal view

Saturn entered the sign of Pisces on March 7, 2023 and will remain there until February 2026. For me, this time has been marked by themes of maturity, leveling up, and career changes. I’m feeling Saturn’s energy more than ever as I embrace the shifts, challenges, and emotions it brings. It’s a time of transformation, and I’m leaning into it.

I’ve felt an immense urge to mature and buckle down on my goals, including doing the internal work—like going to therapy and taking the time to look inward at myself and my life. I no longer have the desire to engage in some of the things I enjoyed just a year ago. There’s this undeniable sense of growth and maturity washing over me, like I’m stepping into a new version of myself. My career has also undergone a drastic shift. Within the past year, I graduated college, said goodbye to a career in cannabis, and launched a new path in education. It’s been a leap of faith, but it’s led to more stability, fulfillment, and financial growth than I’ve ever experienced.

This period of change has been both empowering and humbling. It’s forcing me to recognize the importance of intention, discipline, and aligning my life with the person I want to become. While it hasn’t always been easy, I can feel the groundwork being laid for something bigger. Saturn’s influence is undeniable—it’s teaching me to embrace responsibility, honor my evolution, and trust the process as I step into this next chapter of life.

Follow along as I navigate my Saturn Return in Pisces and share the lessons, growth, and stories that come with this powerful astrological transit. Let’s embrace the ride together!
